How is an installment calculated?
Monthly installment = (price − down payment) × (1 + margin) ÷ months. Example: a 600 JOD phone, 100 down, 10% margin over 10 months = 55 JOD a month.
What an installment plan contract should include
Buyer and guarantor details, the item, total price, down payment, number of installments, due dates, and what happens on late payment. Add a promissory note for the remaining amount and give a receipt for every payment.
